Join us for Last Great Run
of the Year!
Welcome to the 26th Edition of the New Balance Fall Classic
on November 15, 2009.

We hope you can join us for the Last Great Run of the
Year to see why it is one of Vancouver favourite runs, and
the best way to wrap up your running season.
End your running season on a
high note! The New Balance Fall Classic has a reputation for
accurate and pretty routes with races that start on time
where you get a great garment to remember your experience.
Afterwards you can enjoy great food, entertainment and a
nice warm dry place to relax with friends after the race.
You can even shower while you wait for the awards to begin,
which are usually on time too!
Check out some testimonials
from previous events, and decide for yourself.
Walkers Welcome!
NEW for 2009 is the inclusion of walking categories. We do
not issue timed awards for walkers, but the NBFC will be
drawing random prizes for all categories, including these 3
new walking divisions.
Charity
Participants helped us raise over $13,000 for the Heart &
Stroke Foundation of BC and Yukon and for 2009, we’d all
like to see an increase in that figure. There are many
fundraising incentives available through the Heart & Stroke
Foundation website, so please check it out and see if you
want to help us with this challenge.
Garment
Showing off the 2009 NBFC garment is Mike Eckford and Fiona
Forbes of Urban Rush.
Mike and Fiona will be our MC’s at the post-race festivities
in the SRC.
The garment this year is a sleek black tech top with
reflective side pieces. Very nice!
OR you can choose some 25th anniversary tights we have
leftover from 2008. Back in the day, the Fall Classic was
the first event in Vancouver to offer running tights with
the entry. (click here for image)
OR if you’d prefer a limited edition New Balance Fall
Classic Jacket or a Thermal Half-Zip top, then for a small
upgrade fee, you could be wearing one of those beautiful
garments. (images forthcoming)

We are excited to put on a fantastic experience for you this
year.
Let’s keep the tradition
alive and we’ll see you at the Last Great Run of the Year!
